Anecdotal material supplies by William Rawlings of Louisville, Ky. says that Thomas Minor Winn, Jr.'s father died before he was born. He grew up in the home of his stepfather.  He later owned a livery stable probably in Palmyra, Mo. He would go to Colorado and catch wild horses and bring them back to sell in his livery stable.  Later in his life, he went to Colorado Springs, Co, because of his health.  This is where he died.
